The first-generation brewer, Mr. Minematsu, was born in Saga Prefecture, Kyushu. Here, mountains and rivers converge, the land is fertile, and the water is beautiful and the rice fragrant.
In 1934, Minematsu began to devote himself to sake brewing in this uniquely advantaged brewing place. Despite having the geographical advantage, he couldn't obtain the perfect brew for a long time. Later, he had a daughter and felt a sense of life's completeness, which permeated into his craftsmanship, and finally obtained an excellent brew.
Therefore, he named it "Sachihime" (meaning "Dear princess"), incorporating beauty into the sake, inheriting the gift of nature and passing on the power of good luck.
