It is in the heart of the Loire Valley vineyard that in 1927, driven by his passion for vine and wine, Joseph Verdier founded his company. It has developed from generation to generation to become in the mid-sixties a nationally-recognized Loire Valley wine trading house. In 1965, after joining forces with the Bordeaux group Taillan, the company becomes expert on international markets and keeps progressing in France remaining connected to the soil and the vine. Motivated by the demanding nature of the winemaker’s trade, Joseph Verdier is committed to reveal the best of its terroirs thanks to a meticulous selection and the mastering of growing, maturing, winemaking and storing techniques.
