Las Veletas – Fine Wines from the Maule Valley, Chile

Las Veletas is a family-owned winery located in the Maule Valley’s coastal drylands, one of Chile’s most distinctive wine regions. Founded in 1993 by Raúl Dell Oro and revitalized in 2017 with the arrival of renowned winemaker Rafael Tirado, our project brings together tradition, innovation, and a strong sense of place.

We cultivate 340 hectares of vineyards, including heritage varieties such as País and Carignan, as well as noble grapes like Cabernet Franc, Carménère, and Petit Verdot. Our vineyards are planted on terraces with slopes up to 55°, promoting natural vine health and mineral expression while embracing sustainable viticulture practices.

Our wines are hand-harvested, vinified by small plots (cuarteles), and crafted to reflect the unique terroirs of the Maule Valley. We offer an outstanding price-quality ratio, with lines ranging from fresh Gran Reserva wines to limited-production blends and single-vineyard “Cuartel” selections.

With a flexible production capacity and attention to detail at every stage—from grape to bottle—we are proud to bring wines of character and authenticity to international markets.
