The Cantine dei Marchesi di Barolo are based in the heart of Barolo and are a place of worship for wine lovers. They were founded more than two hundred years ago by the last Marchesi di Barolo - Carlo Tancredi Falletti and Juliette Colbert di Maulévrier - to vinify and refine nebbiolo grapes in order to professionally produce a wine, stable, firm, austere: Barolo. 

The Abbona Family, historically at the helm of the Cellars, stands as a faithful interpreter of the diversity of places and grape varieties, respecting and preserving their typicality thanks to winemaking processes selected over many years of activity. A great heritage of knowledge has been handed down for more than five generations, combining tradition and innovation. The winery processes the main grape varieties of the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato Nicese, vinifying the most prestigious crus in purity, refining them and offering them individually to better enhance their different expressions. The winery's guiding principles are knowledge and respect for the grape varieties and terroirs, combined with winemaking that enhances their strengths. 

The wineries are open to the public for guided tours and tastings, and it is also possible to appreciate the area's food and wine pairings at the La Foresteria restaurant, designed precisely to enhance the wines produced on the estate.
