It was in 1513 with Pierre-Etienne Mellot, then with César Mellot at the end of the 17th century, that the family made a name for itself and today enjoys international renown. At the head of the estate since 2005, Catherine Corbeau-Mellot today continues with passion and talent the work of her husband Alexandre and her ancestors. The culture of the vineyards is entirely carried out in reasoned agriculture and certified of High Environmental Value (HVE), part of which is in Organic Agriculture.
