Founder of Atze's Corner Wines, Andy Kalleske, was born into a family of vignerons, representing the sixth generation of grape growers in the iconic Barossa Valley. From a young age, he learned to nurture the gnarly old vines with care and respect, recognizing their significance to his family’s legacy. In 2005, Andy transformed his family's centuries-old viticultural heritage into Atze’s Corner Wines, establishing a boutique winery dedicated to crafting exceptional Barossa Valley wines. Only the top 5% of the family’s vineyards are selected to create Atze’s Corner wines, ensuring every bottle represents the pinnacle of quality.

The Kalleske family’s winemaking journey began in 1838 when their ancestors emigrated from Eastern Prussia to the Barossa Valley. As skilled merchants, millers & farmers with extensive knowledge of their crafts, they brought hope, resilience, and expertise to the challenging Australian conditions. Their passion and dedication endured, and today, some of the original vines they planted still flourish in the Barossa, producing outstanding wines that continue their legacy.
